With a uniquely versatile and individually tailored portfolio, THERMAX® moulded parts for biomass, oil and gas-fired condensing boiler technology offer the optimum fitout, for example, for combustion chamber, ash and cleaning doors.

Efficient and environmentally friendly: Combustion technology with THERMAX® thermal insulation

THERMAX® fulfils all requirements for low thermal conductivity for the protection and long life of your plants, with very good thermal cycling / thermal shock resistance. THERMAX® combines efficient use of raw materials with careful and sustainable use of resources at the highest level.

Just like the raw material, THERMAX® is also ecological, has no negative effects on health and is free from ceramic and mineral fibres.

THERMAX® products are manufactured initially in a specially patented process. The expanded vermiculite produced is pressed together with special binders to produce large-format THERMAX® panels or in individually produced moulds to form THERMAX® moulded parts. Alternatively, high-precision CNC milling is used to form any required THERMAX® shape.

Available in various qualities, e.g. in condensate-resistant THERMAX® HR quality for condensing technology or in the higher temperature-resistant THERMAX® H quality, classified up to 1200 °C.

We are able to supply special formats and special thicknesses on request. We will be pleased to manufacture stampings, milled parts or cuttings according to your drawings.
The classification temperature should not be conflated with the maximum use temperature – especially if physical conditions such as tensile or pressure loads play a part. Generally, lower temperatures should be used for high temperature insulation. In these cases, our company’s engineering department will be happy to advise. Heat transfer calculations for this material can also be obtained from our engineering department.
